The Manchester Domestic Violence Outreach Team (DVOT) partners an Interval House Advocate with a Manchester Police Officer. Established in 1997, this is the longest running partnership of its kind in the state. This highly specialized team handles cases of domestic violence, stalkng and non-stranger sexual assault. Services are offered to anyone who lives, works or studies in Manchester and to victims where the domestic abuse occured in Manchester. Services include:
- Enhanced case investigation
- Information about rights, options and services available
- Support and advocacy
- Assistance with restraining order aplications
- Community Outreach and Education

The Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) began in Connecticut on September 15, 2012. LAP is an innovative partnership with law enforcement to implement nationally recognized risk assessment strategies to better serve domestic violence victims in the greatest danger. Connecticut is one of only ten states nationwide selected to participate in the program.
Interval House has partnered with the Manchester Police Department in offering Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) since July 2012. In August, 2013, the West Hartford Police Department has join in this partnership.
Law Enforcement Training. Interval House advocates and educators provide comprehensive expertise and insight into domestic violence to new and seasoned police officers throughout the 24 towns and communities we serve. Our Domestic Violence Outreach Team advocate is a State of Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Trainnng Council (P.O.S.T.) certified police instructor and provides law enforcement training at regional law enforcement academies and CCADV's Training Institute.
