Community Education
Outreach and education is key to helping prevent and break the cycle of domestic violence. Interval House’s Community Educator is available to speak and make presentations to businesses, schools, churches, civic groups, and other organizations. Topics include domestic violence, teen dating violence, the impact of domestic violence on children, parents and Interval House’s services and history.
New Beginnings, Interval House’s quarterly newsletter is the main publication used for community outreach and highlighting of Interval House’s achievements. Each newsletter focuses on victim success stories as well as activities and events in and around Interval House and the community.
