Purple With A Purpose Team Fundraising
Use the power of your network of friends, family and colleagues to make a difference in the lives of our clients! Create your team and start sharing your unique link with the conscientious and caring people in your life. No donation is too small–every dollar helps us provide lifesaving services to victims of domestic violence. The team leader raising the most for our cause will win a night out on the town with CEO Mary-Jane Foster and some very special guests! CLICK HERE to register and create your team!

October 2, 9 & 16 at 9am
Jennifer Farber Dulos Memorial Walk to End Domestic Violence
Put on your purple and step out to honor survivors and remember those lost to domestic violence. This year, three walks are being offered in several communities we serve. Your registration fee ($25) provides our clients safe options and lifesaving services. Registration opens at 8:30am for all walks. CLICK HERE to sign up for one or all of the following:

  • October 2 – Goodwin College, East Hartford with Honorary Chairs East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc and Manchester Mayor Jay Moran & Emcee Renee DiNino
  • October 9 – Fisher Meadows, Avon with Honorary Chairs Heather Maguire, Chairperson of the Avon Town Council and Eric Wellman, First Selectman of Simsbury 
  • October 16 – Elizabeth Park, West Hartford with Honorary Chairs Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin, West Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor, WTNH’s Dennis House and WFSB’s Kara Sundlun

And So I Stayed Film Screening & Discussion
Join us at TheaterWorks Hartford on Monday, October 4 at 7pm for a screening of And So I Stayed, an award-winning documentary about survivors of domestic violence fighting for their lives and spending years behind bars after the legal system failed them. A panel discussion featuring formerly incarcerated survivor-advocate Kim DaDou Brown and film co-directors Natalie Pattillo and Daniel A. Nelson, as well as Interval House experts, will follow. Your registration fee ($25) provides our clients safe options and lifesaving services. CLICK HERE to reserve your seat. October 7 at 5pm
Vigil for Jessica Edwards
Gather for a vigil honoring Jessica Edwards of South Windsor, who lost her life too early to domestic violence. Join Interval House, The Network of Enfield, State Senator Saud Anwar, and Jessica’s family and friends at the Boundless Playground in Nevers Park, South Windsor to remember her beautiful life. No registration required. Donations for Jessica’s memorial bench can be directed to The Network

October 21 at 8am
Breakfast With Champions

Rise and shine to celebrate the true heroes of the pandemic—our very own staff! Join us at The Riverview in Simsbury on Thursday, October 21 for a scrumptious breakfast and to honor the work of our brave and dedicated team during one of the most challenging years in our history. As usual, our breakfast is free to attend; however, a gift of personal significance will be requested during the program to support our life-saving services for victims of domestic violence. Mobile payments and checks will be accepted at your table. ADVANCED REGISTRATION is required to reserve your seat. To host a table, contact Hailey Boucher. Doors open for registration at 7:30am; breakfast is served at 8am; program will conclude by 9:15am. Please note that we will comply with any current local, state or federal mandates regarding masks and social distancing at this event to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees and service personnel.
