Affectionately named for one of Interval House’s founders, Alice Kugelman, The Alice Society is a group of devoted philanthropists who have each chosen to protect generations of future survivors by leaving a bequest to Interval House in their will. By joining The Alice Society and directing your life’s major gift to our program, you create a legacy of love and hope by uplifting those in need long after you are gone.

The Alice Society is comprised of valued members of the Interval House Family who are acknowledged in our Annual Report and invited to a special event every year.

Your Plans

Are you in the process of planning your legacy? A bequest is a gift that costs you nothing now, but empowers survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their lives and become independent, thriving members of our community. When you include Interval House in your will, you provide safety and hope to families impacted by violence.

If you choose to make Interval House a priority in your estate plans, use our toolkit below to guide you. Please note that this information is provided as a general service. Personal advisers–including your attorney and financial adviser–should always be consulted before making changes to your estate. Once you have designated Hartford Interval House, Inc. as a beneficiary of your estate, please reach out to us so we can note your intentions for our records.
