Interval House focuses on the following types of contributions that allow us to flexibly and immediately assist families fleeing violent homes. If you are looking to donate goods or services, please consult our in-kind donation policy.

#1 – FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS

Your financial contribution offers the most flexibility for clients fleeing violence, from covering the cost of a lock change to providing emergency transportation to safety. Checks can be made payable to “Interval House” and mailed to us at P.O Box 340207, Hartford, CT 06134, or you can give a secure online gift here. #2 – GIFT CARDS

A gift card empowers a survivor to immediately secure what they need while maintaining their dignity and power of choice. Gift cards in $25 and $50 increments are the most helpful, and can be mailed to: Interval House, P.O. Box 340207, Hartford, CT 06134. The most helpful gift cards are:

• Visa gift cards, which offer the most flexible options for clients with a variety of needs.

• Walmart and Target gift cards, which allow a client to purchase anything from food to clothing to health items for their household.

• Grocery gift cards, which help clients feed their families while working through challenging household transitions.

• Pharmacy gift cards, which are good for essential purchases at neighborhood Walgreen’s or CVS locations.

#3 – SAFE HOUSE SUPPLIES VIA AMAZON WISH LIST

Help us replenish cleaning supplies and provide our clients essential items for daily use in the Safe House by perusing our Amazon Wish List. Your purchase through our registry on Amazon will be shipped directly to our undisclosed location, saving time, preserving client safety, and ensuring we receive goods we currently need.
