Holiday Gift Card Drive
Interval House has thousands of clients every year—some in our Safe House, many in the courts, and others who we only speak to on the hotline. As a small staff and facility, we do not have the resources to collect, store and distribute toys, clothing, or food to those who depend on us, so we rely on gift cards to cover our clients’ essential needs. At the holidays, gift cards are an additional blessing because they allow clients to choose the gifts they want to give their kids or the food they need to cook a meal that is traditional for their family.
We are seeking the following types of gift cards in $10, $25, and $50 increments for our clients’ holiday needs:
VISA gift cards are the most helpful option, as they can be used at any retailer.
Gift Cards to stores like Walmart & Target allow one-stop shopping for food, clothing, toys and personal items!
Stop & Shop or ShopRite gift cards offer daily nourishment or the fixings for a culturally-appropriate holiday meal.
Walgreens and CVS gift cards provide quick essentials in every neighborhood.
PLEASE MAIL GIFT CARDS BY DECEMBER 8 TO:
P. O. Box 340207
Hartford, CT 06134
Or you can click here to make a financial donation that we will convert to a gift card for one of our clients.
If you would like to hold a gift card drive for our clients with your workplace, church, school or other group, here is a flyer you can use to promote your activity.
If you have too many cards to mail, please contact Hailey Boucher at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for pick up. Please note we cannot accept in-person deliveries to our safe house.
Thank you for thinking of our clients this year–together we can help bring some cheer to families in transition!
