Participating in a support group can contribute greatly to a victim’s healing process. Held in a confidential location, a support group is a safe space where participants are encouraged to share their experiences and feelings. Certified domestic violence counselors facilitate discussions that help to build self-esteem and awareness–letting victims know they are not alone in their struggle and empowering them to make the right decisions for their situations.
Interval House’s 2023 support groups are listed below. Participation is free and confidential for adults 18+, and childcare is available at all sessions. To join a group, email supportgroups@intervalhousect.org.
